Wendell Smith

After spending over twenty years in the music industry, working studios and nightclubs in Charlotte NC, it was time for a change. So I moved to Myrtle Beach, SC. There I went back to school and studied resort management. Then in 1997 a major concert venue opened in Myrtle Beach ad I found myself working as a production assistant, taking care of the artists while they are in town. Sometime in 1999 I met up with Dwayne King and we discovered that we were both Horror Movie Junkies! One night while watching some lame movie we decided to try to make our own movie. The result was a six minutes short called “Pizza Guy”, which over the next few years has reached a cult status around town, and especially around Coastal Carolina University. We spent every waking hour writing little gory stories and eventually we had enough material to produce a compulation of our own films on DVD called “Nightmares” Our first feature is about to be released world wide in 2007. it’s called “Kill Syndrome”;
